2.3 Regional Conference Make Up

 The " National Teacher of the Year" It is a short story by Mr. McCourt and it is talking about his challenges of being a teacher. McCourt is a teacher and he talks about his experiences in the classroom and talks about the importance of dedication and passion and being able to connect with his students, it talks also about the humorous moments that defines a teachers career and the impact that a dedicated teacher can have on their students lives, throughout his story he paints a vivid picture of the teaching profession, and the difficulties that come with the job.

It talks about building a strong and positive relationship between students and their teachers, students are most likely to succeed when they feel supported by the teachers they have. She tells about her personal experience with it and shows how a champion can make a significant difference in student's lives and for educators to believe in their students and have a connection with all of them in not only the teaching part but also in the personal level. Every child deserves a champion who will never give up on them and who understands the power of human connection. I believe these ideas can impact me and my future in education by helping me  realize its ok to be close to the students because it helps them know that someone is there for them and also if you are close to the students in certain ways if they are having problems either at home or anywhere else they feel like they can talk to you about anything going on because they feel close enough to you to trust you. 

in the 4 classroom management mistakes and solutions it breaks down some common issues teachers face and how to fix them one of the mistakes is not building relationships and the solutions to that is to connect with students on a personal level, also being reactive instead of proactive a solution to that is to plan ahead to prevent common issues, another mistake can be not having a clear procedures and a solution to not having clear procedures is practice the routines and getting the hand of them and lastly another mistake teachers make is lack of consistency and a solution to that is be consistent with the rules and consequences.

I like when they were talking about how the teachers need to respect the students and always try and help them because I feel like when a teacher is respectful to the students it makes the kids feel good about themselves and it makes them want to respect the teacher like they respect the students because I've always been told treat people how you would wanna be treated and I go by that but it also makes the student feel seen.

Recently in my Intro To Ed class I have had the opportunity to go and observe two different High School classes, here are some of the things I got to watch and listen to.

For my second observation I went to Mr. Luchewagers classroom and I learned a lot of different things about coding and all I was doing was sitting there listening and watching him teach.

 I realized that Mr. Luchewager helps he's kids a lot and he also helps them with anything they need and shows them how to actually do the coding before he lets them do it themselves and fi they get stuck along the way he will go up to the front and help and demonstrate how to do it.

In conclusion, at the end of the day these two amazing teachers helped me realize how far I wanna go into the Education and how I need to treat me kid's and how to talk to them and make them feel like they can have fun in class and also work in class at the same time and not be bored.
